Windscreen Repair Sydney stands behind the quality of our work. We offer comprehensive warranty coverage to give you peace of mind and confidence in our services.

Workmanship Warranty

All our installations and repairs are backed by a lifetime workmanship warranty for as long as you own the vehicle. This covers:

  • Water leaks caused by improper installation
  • Wind noise resulting from installation defects
  • Glass separation from the vehicle frame
  • Adhesive failure under normal conditions
  • Installation-related stress cracks

Glass Product Warranty

The glass products we install carry manufacturer warranties that typically cover:

  • Manufacturing defects in the glass
  • Delamination or clouding between glass layers
  • Defects in heated elements (rear demisters, heated windscreens)
  • Issues with factory-fitted rain sensors or other integrated features

Manufacturer warranty periods vary by product. We use quality glass that meets Australian safety standards.

Chip Repair Warranty

Our chip repairs are warranted for the life of the windscreen. If a repaired chip:

  • Develops into a crack from the repair site (not from new impact)
  • Shows failure of the repair material

We will either re-repair the chip at no cost or credit the repair cost towards a full windscreen replacement.

What Is Not Covered

Our warranty does not cover damage or issues caused by:

  • Accidents, impacts, or collisions
  • Road debris, stones, or flying objects
  • Vandalism or attempted theft
  • Natural disasters, hail, or extreme weather events
  • Improper use or abuse of the vehicle
  • Modifications or alterations made after installation
  • Normal wear and tear (minor scratches from wiper use)
  • Stress cracks from structural damage to the vehicle
  • Pre-existing damage not disclosed at time of service

ADAS Calibration Warranty

ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration is warranted against calibration errors for 30 days from the date of service. If you experience warning lights or system malfunctions related to our calibration within this period, we will recalibrate at no additional cost.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

If you believe you have a warranty issue, follow these steps:

  1. Contact us by phone or email to describe the issue
  2. Provide your details including name, phone number, and date of original service
  3. Document the issue with photos if possible
  4. Schedule an inspection at a time convenient for you (we offer mobile service)
  5. We will assess the issue and advise on warranty coverage

Warranty Claim Process

  • Claims must be made within a reasonable time of discovering the issue
  • We may need to inspect the vehicle to determine the cause
  • Valid claims will be rectified at no cost to you
  • If the issue is not covered by warranty, we will provide a quote for repairs

Transferability

Our workmanship warranty is not transferable. It applies only to the original customer who engaged our services and remains valid for as long as you own the vehicle.

Your Consumer Rights

This warranty is in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
